Applied Imaging’s Vice President of Operations, Janet Langerak, was recently named a 2020 Difference Maker by ENX Magazine, a national publication that reports on office technology dealers and manufacturers. With a circulation of more than 28,000 hard copies, ENX Magazine is the leading integrated resource that brings together industry people, products, and business concepts and strategies for document technology industry professionals. Langerak was recognized for her versatility throughout her career and for playing a significant role in Applied Imaging becoming one of the USA’s largest and most successful office technology dealerships.

In 1987, Langerak became Applied Imaging’s seventh employee. Since then she has held a variety of positions from receptionist to her current position as a valuable member of Applied Imaging’s executive team. Her expertise in the areas of finance, operations and service have been key to Applied Imaging exceeding the $100 million mark in revenues. In her spare time, Langerak enjoys golf, gardening and relaxing with a good book.

“It came as quite a nice surprise,” remarked Langerak. “I really am proud to be known as a Difference Maker within our industry. It makes everything all worth it!”

“Janet has made a difference for Applied Imaging since the first day she walked in the door,” said John Lowery, Applied Imaging’s Founder and President. “Her overall passion for people and the willingness to step into multiple executive leadership roles has been a driving force in establishing our Applied Chemistry culture.”
