Applied Imaging Reinforces Commitment to Businesses with Body Temperature Scanning Personnel Kiosk

As businesses throughout Michigan and Northern Ohio begin to reopen following the COVID-19 stay-at-home directives, Applied Imaging has added Personnel Kiosks with body temperature screening to its product offering as part of the “Healthy Office” portfolio. The kiosks provide a first layer of screening and unrivaled convenience for employees and customers in the office setting, restaurants, grocery stores, retail outlets, hospitals, schools and many other businesses adhering to reopening protocol. While standing inside of three feet, these kiosks take an individual’s temperature within 1 second, then follow-up with voice prompts whether they pass, fail, or need to put on a mask. They also have facial recognition capability. Some models have optional features, including ID Card Readers, Fingerprint Readers, Access Control, and more. “As an essential business, Applied Imaging has remained open during the stay-at-home time frame to support our clients and their technology needs,” said John Lowery, Applied Imaging’s President and Founder. “Utilizing technology to help businesses protect the health and safety of their employees and customers as our region re-opens is merely an extension of what we’ve been doing since Day One.” About Applied Imaging Lowery founded Applied Imaging in 1987. From its roots in Grand Rapids, the company has grown to over 450 employees with offices in Kalamazoo, Muskegon, Lansing, Traverse City, Flint, Petoskey, Alpena, Novi, Southfield, Ann Arbor, Clio, and Toledo, Ohio.
