Applied Imaging is seeking a self-directed, team-focused individual to manage Michigan’s east side parts department. This role is responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of the parts department team and is responsible for ensuring proper inventory and availability of parts for the east side Service Technician team of Applied Imaging. The Copier Parts Manager will work out of our Southfield Michigan office.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coach, motivate, and manage team members through goal setting, one-on-one meetings, team meetings, action plans, and establishing overall department direction.
  • Establish or implement departmental policies, goals, objectives, and procedures in conjunction with Applied Imaging’s business objectives.
  • Analyze internal processes and recommend and implement procedural or policy changes to improve department operations.
  • Monitor the accuracy of the parts warehouse and technician stock cars.
  • Analyze and provide data and support on various parts inventory metrics to the Leadership Team, managers, and internal employees and resolve challenges.
  • Maintain accuracy and documentation of used parts warehouse.

  • Possess demonstrated understanding of Microsoft Office tools including Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Support and communicate company’s mission, vision, and elements
  • Cultivate relationships with employees and other individuals around them
  • Must be dependable, professional, organized, detailed oriented and able to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Possess strong analytical skills, has a strong sense of ownership, and the ability to forecast department needs
  • High degree of flexibility and problem solving

Key Requirements and Skills:

  • Possess demonstrated understanding of Microsoft Office tools including Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Excellent customer service skills are essential.
  • Must be dependable, professional, organized, detailed oriented and able to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
