Printing from an iPad or iPhone is a conversation topic that seems to come up often.  Here are a few resources that I have found that might be helpful for you.  Keep in mind that I have not personally tested all of these.

• And here is more information for devices that can print from an iPad/iPhone for free using AirPrint.

We would like to thank all our customers and our team for making the event a huge success this year.  It was our 6^th annual event in Grand Rapids and our 1^st in the Novi office.  Between the two offices we had approximately 450 attendees.  In addition, we also hosted Frank Beckman and the Michigan State Cheerleading team.  It was a great showcase for products and services.  We showcased workflow.com, PSIgen, Canon, Ricoh, OnBase, Kyocera, Square9 SmartSearch, and Lexmark.  For pictures from both offices check out our Facebook page.

Last Friday USA Today published an article on copier and printer security.  It is similar to the story that came out a about latent images on the hard drive of the device (MFP's, printers) after the device is returned.  If you have not read or heard about that story click here.  For the Applied Imaging policy on that issue click here. 

The basic idea of the story is that users are not protecting the devices in the office with a password.  The result is that someone can get on your network and get the information off of the hard drive.  Are your devices protected?  Have you encrypted the hard drive?  This will likely affect how devices are managed in the future.  To read the full story click here.
