About Us

Who We Are

Founded in 1986, Applied Imaging has achieved growth throughout Michigan by evolving and positioning its people, products, and services, to respond to the needs of today’s customers. By helping Michigan businesses be more efficient in how they communicate and manage information flow, Applied Imaging has gained recognition both locally and nationally. Applied Imaging annually receives The Week in Imaging’s Elite Dealer Award for being one of the USA’s most innovative and customer friendly office technology dealers. Applied Imaging has also received local recognition as one of Michigan’s 50 Companies to Watch and in 2012, Applied Imaging’s president, John Lowery, was named Michigan’s Small Businessman of the Year.

People

At the core of how Applied Imaging does business are values Michigan businesspeople can relate to: loyalty, honesty, and hard work. As Applied Imaging grows and surpasses new plateaus, Applied Chemistry and its 11 Elements of Success guide our employees through their daily activities and has become the cornerstone of the company’s culture and its future. When you get to know our people, you’ll realize they are the best our industry has to offer.

“People we used to do business with kept getting gobbled up by bigger companies with their headquarters who knows where. The key to our relationship with Applied Imaging is that they’re local.  They’re responsive. I get unbeatable service and I get more value for my dollar.”

Products

In the beginning, Applied Imaging’s products were standalone copiers backed by fast, friendly, and amazing copier service. Today, Applied Imaging offers both hardware and software solutions for copying, printing, scanning, document storage and retrieval, and network support. Unlike many of our competitors who are restricted to representing one manufacturer, Applied Imaging is independent and has multiple relationships with world class suppliers. This allows us to select the best of breed and create the absolute best solution for all businesses big and small.

“With clients worldwide, we needed a better way to manage our paperwork. Document management software from Applied Imaging allows us to store, retrieve and share documents via our network. That enables us to provide our customers with a better product, better quality and better service.”

Services

To insure the fastest, fix-it-right-the-first-time service, Applied Imaging continually invests in customer-friendly service technology and resources like our state-of-the-art Customer Loyalty Center. Additionally, due to our commitment to ongoing education, our service and network technicians all have the latest industry and manufacturer certifications. However, in spite of our investments in technology, you can still talk to a real person when you call for service or supplies.

“With MFP’s from Applied Imaging, we were able to reduce the number of printing devices throughout our business and yet work more efficiently. The savings were unbelievable. Their service is unbeatable. It’s changed our world.”
